Write a scene of dialogue in which a character (or two) is giving information, but is simultaneously and unintentionally revealing significant things about his or her inner life.

Write a scene of dialogue in which  a character has a conversational strategy for getting what he or she wants, but then has to change strategies at the first “collision” with the other speaker.

Sit in your kitchen during a busy time of day and describe what you see, hear, smell, and (possibly) taste. Does it make sense to include textures in your description? Also, incorporate movement.
